Corrections policy
Last edited October 15, 2026
Home Adapt Guide aims to be accurate enough to cite. When something is wrong or out of date, we fix it and say so.
How to report an error
Send the page address, what you think is wrong, and the source that shows the correct information, such as the code section, regulation or program page, to the address on the contact page. A link to the primary source is the fastest way to get a fix.
What happens next
We check the report against the primary source. If the page is wrong, we correct it and update the "Last edited" date. If the source itself has changed, for example a new code edition or a new grant amount, we update the page and its sources.
How corrections are shown
A correction that changes a number, a rule or a recommendation is noted at the end of the page, with the date and what changed. Small fixes to spelling, wording or broken links are made without a note.
What we do not change
We do not remove accurate information because a vendor or program asks us to. Requests from vendors to change a tool description are treated like any other report and checked against the vendor's own published materials.
